Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dynamic Release Techniques™ website at dynamicreleasetechniques.com (the “Website”) and your registration for and participation in Dynamic Release Techniques (“DRT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) educational programs. DRT’s legal name, as shown by the IRS, is Dynamic Release Techniques (EIN 42-3880928). DRT is a Nevada nonprofit corporation recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Visiting the Website or sending in a registration form signals your acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or register for a DRT program.
1. Related policies
The following policies are part of these Terms and apply when relevant to you: the Privacy Policy, the Refund, Cancellation, Transfer & Grievance Policy, the Seminar Registration Agreement, the Participant Consent, Assumption of Risk & Release, the Scope of Practice & Eligibility Acknowledgment, the Code of Conduct, the Photo, Video & Media Release, the Continuing Education Disclosure, and, for travel purchases, the Adventure Travel Package Terms. Course-specific written disclosures provided at registration also apply. If a course-specific disclosure conflicts with these Terms, the course-specific disclosure controls for that course.
2. Age and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to register for a DRT program or to make a purchase on the Website. DRT programs are designed for licensed healthcare professionals and qualified students as described in the Scope of Practice & Eligibility Acknowledgment. Guests under 18 who accompany a registered participant on an adventure travel package must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times and may not attend seminar sessions or hands-on labs.
3. Educational purpose, not medical advice
DRT provides professional continuing education, educational materials, demonstrations, and supervised hands-on instruction. Information on the Website and in DRT programs is educational. It is not individualized medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation, and it does not create a provider-patient relationship between you and DRT or any DRT instructor. DRT’s products and services, including Dynamic Instruments, are not medical devices. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
4. Professional responsibility and scope of practice
You are solely responsible for practicing within your professional training, licensure, applicable law, and scope of practice. Completing a DRT course does not by itself authorize you to perform any procedure that is restricted in your jurisdiction. Only licensed chiropractors may perform manipulation under anesthesia (MUA) on patients. Physical therapists and other attendees may learn MUA material but may not perform MUA on patients.
5. Continuing education credit
DRT programs offer 32 CE hours (16 online with Dr. Robert C. Gordon, DC, AAMUAP + 16 in person), pending approval. CE approval has not been granted at this time, and DRT does not claim that any course is approved or accredited. Whether CE credit is awarded depends on final approvals, full attendance, successful completion of course requirements, and the rules of your own licensing board. See the Continuing Education Disclosure for details.
6. Registration, pricing, and payment
Course descriptions, prices, inclusions, prerequisites, locations, schedules, instructors, travel arrangements, and availability are those disclosed for the specific program at the time of registration. Current seminar pricing is $1,899 for the full course, with $899 and $999 tiers. Attendees in the $1,899 tier may opt out of the 16-hour online STOMUA module for $350 off, for a seminar-only price of $1,549. The $899 and $999 tiers do not include an opt-out. Adventure travel packages are sold combined and itemized as “Travel package + Seminar” or “Travel package.”
A registration is confirmed only when DRT accepts your application and receives any required payment. DRT may decline or cancel a registration that does not meet eligibility requirements, in which case any payment received will be refunded.
7. Changes to programs
DRT may make reasonable changes to faculty, curriculum sequence, venue, schedule, or logistics when necessary. If DRT makes a material change to a program’s date or location, or cancels a program, your options are described in the Refund, Cancellation, Transfer & Grievance Policy. DRT is not responsible for a delay, change, or cancellation caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, public health orders, government action, venue closures, or major travel disruptions. If that happens, DRT will offer the options in the Refund, Cancellation, Transfer & Grievance Policy.
8. Hands-on laboratory instruction
Unless a separately authorized clinical training setting is expressly disclosed in writing, student hands-on labs use awake, consenting, non-anesthetized participants. No sedation or anesthesia is administered in ordinary DRT student labs. You may stop or modify your participation at any time, and you must follow instructor safety directions. Participation in labs requires a signed Participant Consent, Assumption of Risk & Release.
9. Travel and third-party suppliers
Flights, lodging, cruises, tours, excursions, ground transportation, and travel insurance may be provided by independent suppliers that set their own terms, deadlines, and fees. Except as stated in the Adventure Travel Package Terms or a written course-specific offer, DRT is not responsible for supplier acts, omissions, charges, penalties, or refunds. You are responsible for passports, visas, permits, health documentation, travel insurance decisions, and personal travel costs.
10. Intellectual property
The Website and DRT programs, including the names Dynamic Release Techniques™, DRT™, Nitric Oxide Release (NOR™), Passive Release Techniques (PRT), Dynamic Instruments, Neuro Mobilization, and STOMUA™, along with DRT logos, course manuals, protocols, diagrams, videos, recordings, and other original content, are owned by or licensed to DRT and are protected by law. Course materials are provided for your own learning and clinical use. Without DRT’s prior written permission, please do not reproduce, share, resell, post online, film, or build another course from DRT content, and do not use DRT names or logos to suggest that DRT endorses or certifies you. See the Trademark & Non-Affiliation Notice.
11. Acceptable use of the Website
You agree not to misuse the Website, including by interfering with its operation or security, attempting unauthorized access, submitting unlawful, false, or harmful content, scraping content for commercial use, or misrepresenting your identity, credentials, or affiliations.
12. Third-party links
Some Website pages point to sites run by other organizations. DRT does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. A link does not mean DRT endorses the linked site.
13. Non-discrimination and accommodations
DRT makes admission, instruction, and certification decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. To request a disability-related accommodation, email Rachel Wilson, DRT Operations Manager, at rachelw.drt@gmail.com. Early requests give us the most time to arrange it. See the Accessibility & Non-Discrimination Statement.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. DRT does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Website or any particular clinical or professional outcome from any program.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DRT and its directors, officers, instructors, volunteers, and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website or participation in a DRT program. DRT’s total liability for any claim relating to a program is limited to the amount you paid to DRT for that program. Your remedies for dissatisfaction with a program are those described in the Refund, Cancellation, Transfer & Grievance Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or waives any non-waivable consumer rights.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless DRT and its directors, officers, instructors, volunteers, and staff from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that result from the care you provide to patients (including any procedure outside your scope of practice), from any failure to follow these Terms, or from any unauthorized use of DRT content or marks.
17. Governing law and venue
Nevada law governs these Terms, without applying any conflict-of-laws rule that would point to another state’s law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or a DRT program will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
18. General terms
If a court decides that part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest of these Terms still applies. DRT’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of its right to do so later. These Terms, together with the related policies listed in Section 1, are the entire agreement between you and DRT regarding their subject matter.
19. Changes to these Terms
DRT may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Website with a new “Last updated” date. Changes apply going forward. The Terms in effect when you register govern that registration, except where the law requires otherwise.
