Advanced Nerve Release — Within the DRT™ Advanced Pathway

Advanced Nerves is the advanced neurofascial course within DRT™, focused on nerve mobility, entrapment patterns, passive release progressions, and preparation for STOMUA™.

Beyond Muscle & Fascia.

This course is designed for clinicians who have completed the foundational DRT coursework and are ready to move beyond muscle and fascia into complex neurofascial restriction patterns.

It focuses on nerve mobility, peripheral nerve pathways, neurodynamic tension, fascial entrapment, and passive release progressions.

Prerequisites Required

Advanced Nerves is part of the advanced clinical pathway within DRT™. Completion of foundational DRT coursework is required before enrollment.

“This course serves as the critical bridge from Passive Release Techniques™ to STOMUA™.”

What Advanced Nerves Teaches

Nerve glide, tension, and neurofascial restriction — explored across clinical regions and integrated with passive release sequencing.

Peripheral Pathways

Students review clinically relevant nerve pathways through the upper extremity, lower extremity, spine, jaw, and related fascial compartments.

Entrapment Patterns

Introduces common clinical entrapment zones and how fascia, scar tissue, muscle tension, and joint position can influence nerve mobility.

Passive Nerve Release

Students learn passive clinician-guided techniques that respect nerve sensitivity and heavily emphasize patient safety and comfort.

Assessment Logic

Participants are taught to precisely think through symptom behavior, tension testing, movement limitation, and clinical sequencing.

Integration With PRT™

Advanced Nerves builds directly on the provider-directed passive release concepts established in the foundational PRT™ modules.

Prep For STOMUA™

This specific neurofascial curriculum is strictly required before a provider can advance to the final STOMUA™ training level.

A progressive path to
clinical mastery.

Dynamic Release Techniques™ follows a progressive educational pathway. Each course builds on the last.

How Advanced Nerves Fits Into DRT™

Advanced Nerves occupies the critical bridge position in the DRT™ pathway. It follows foundational NOR™ and PRT™ training, and is strictly required before STOMUA™ fellowship-level enrollment.
